Detroit Cristo Rey provides a high-quality, private, college prep education. We are located in a vibrant business/residential area of southwest Detroit.

We are dedicated to academic excellence through a challenging curriculum focusing on core academic subjects. Students also participate in our unique Corporate Work Study Program, spiritual formation, the arts, athletics, and service to others. Detroit Cristo Rey provides an extracurricular program that includes yearbook, newspaper, debate team, ecology club, dance, singing/music, chess, art, creative writing, photography, intramural sports, and academic support in each subject area.

The high school graduation rates at Cristo Rey high schools across the country average 96%; the college attendance rate of these graduates is 96%.

100% of Cristo Rey students are accepted to college each year. In addition, most of the graduating seniors in Cristo Rey schools earn college scholarships to the colleges of their choice.

Our unique program requires a creative daily schedule to meet educational requirements and work hours designed to enhance the growth and development of each individual student.
