The Cristo Rey Network ®  is a national organization of high schools located in urban communities with limited educational options.

 

 

Corporate Work Study Program Coordinator

Summary of Position Responsibilities:

The CWSP coordinator is the primary interface with the students and corporate job sponsors relating to their work performance and job assignments. He/She handles issues directly related to students and their success in the CWSP.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

1. Summer Training Institute

Assist the CWSP Director in designing the three week student training program.  Work with staff to organize workshops, coordinate instructors/students training modules, and coordinate events such as family and job sponsor orientations.

 

2. Student Performance/Coaching

a. Schedule and coordinate performance review meetings with students and CWSP / school personnel; utilize sponsor feedback in review meetings.
b. Collect and analyze student and sponsor feedback; prepare sponsor averages, student averages, annual performance comparisons.
c. Coordinate holiday work schedules for students.
d. Enforce all school policies with an emphasis on discipline and dress code.

 

3. Corporate Client/Sponsor Relations

a. Maintain and manage DCRHS relationship with corporate job sponsors in regards to student performance.  As primary contact you will maintain accurate and current contact database information, conduct regular phone and email communications with sponsors, conduct work site visits and evaluations.

b. Complete annual contract requirements for sponsors.

c. Prepare sponsor folders to include complete I-9 and W-4 forms, work permits and student profiles.

 

4. Student Transportation

a. Assist the CWSP Director in the design and implementation of student transportation plan.

b. Coordinate and assign morning and afternoon transportation routes.
c. Assist with driving students to work or chaperone students as needed.

5. School Attendance/Dress Code
a. Prepare daily check in/check out attendance sheet.
b. Identify and correct inappropriate attire.
c. Record and track any tardiness and absences.

6. Special Events Coordination
Assist CWSP Director with annual Sponsor Appreciation Luncheon

Requirements:

B. A. from accredited University / College.

1-3 years applicable work experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
