CollegeBound Challenge
People who pledge to the CollegeBound Challenge will receive updates throughout the year about where our students are being accepted, what scholarships they are earning and overall progress on our goal of 100% college acceptance. In addition, anyone who pledges at least $10 per student accepted will be invited to our Senior Recognition Luncheon on May 3rd. It will be a great event for our seniors as we mark this important milestone in their academic career.

On August 29, our returning students will begin their school year. This will mark a milestone for Detroit Cristo Rey High School: For the first time we will have students in all four grades! We are excited about having seniors for the first time, but we will be reminding them on a daily basis that Senior year does not mark the end of their Detroit Cristo Rey education. Detroit Cristo Rey High School is an eight year program, four years here followed by four years and graduation at the college of their choice. It is an exciting time for everyone involved.
As a result of this exciting first, Detroit Cristo Rey is creating an Endowment Fund that will be used to finance scholarship for future students. We are launching The CollegeBound Challenge and asking you to be a part of this process with us. Below will find a pledge form where you can make a contribution for each senior that is accepted to college. We plan to have 45 seniors and our goal is that each student will be accepted to college.
