Bus Service

Transportation in the Motor City
Transportation is an issue for many of our families. To address this issue we provide free buses that pick up and drop off students to and from school on both the Eastside and Westside of Detroit.

Westside Bus
We pick up students at 6:40am in the parking lot at 17500 James Cousins Freeway near Outer Drive Lutheran Church at the corner of Outer Drive and James Couzens beginning the last week of summer training (when all of the students come back to school). Please ensure that your child arrives no later than 6:55AM. The bus will depart promptly at 7AM in order to get students to school on time. The drivers depart at 7AM sharp! We will not turn around to pick up stragglers if you arrive late so PLEASE be on time. Please plan on meeting the bus when it at the end of the day. If our drivers wait more than 10 minutes on a recurring basis for your child to be picked up the child may be prohibited from riding the bus. Please be considerate of the driver’s time and our free service to you. If you have questions please call Reuben Metreger at 313-670-3876.
